loss in translation makes me really sad. i was reading a story called a boring story, but it doesn’t transfer into english that in russian the word ‘boring’ also means ‘lonely,’ and the whole time i was reading it i kind of wanted to cry because anyone who didn’t speak russian would miss an entire shade of meaning.
